Geography, lab, 1986

This image shows students working on geography printouts in the geography lab in the Department of Geography and Community Planning at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1986-87. Students can be seen sitting in front of computer terminals. The Department of Geography and Community Planning offers BA degrees in Geography and BS degrees in Community Planning, with courses in geographic techniques, quantitative methods, urban and political geography, land use, and regional planning. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 121).
