Description
This image shows two men observing the output of a new Fisher Recordall, a universal laboratory recorder, in a laboratory in the Department of Chemistry at Appalachian State University (1967-current) during the 1970s. In the foreground is a chemical shower head. The Fisher Recordall was first trademarked in 1956, and was an instrument for recording all types of electrical and analytical data on a two-pen chart recorder. The Department of Chemistry exists within the College of Arts and Sciences, and aims to provide training for future chemists, basic understanding of the principles of chemistry, and chemistry teachers. The Department has been accredited by the American Chemical Society.
