Description
This image shows two attendees of an art exhibit at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the mid to late 1970s. A man is straightening the tie of a woman by coat hooks. The Art Department is located in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture, and often displays student and faculty art in the Catherine Smith Gallery and the Turchin Center for Visual Arts.
