Description
This image shows two students drawing on the front lawn of Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938, for an art class at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in mid to late 1970s. A dog sits between them. The Art Department was one of the first departments at Appalachian State and is located in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
