This image shows a meeting of the Alumni Association held in the 1970s at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center, built 1972, at Appalachian State University (1967-current). Appalachian State President Herbert Walter Wey (1969-1979) can be seen speaking behind a podium to the audience. The Broyhill Inn and Conference Center served as an inn and the home of the Center for Continuing Education. Seated on the left is Ms. Jeannie Wey, wife of Chancellor Wey.
