Description

This image shows part of the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Homecoming Parade in 1964. A car can pulling a float be seen driving down the Promenade at Appalachian State. The car includes a student dressed as Yosef, standing by a bell with an "A" painted on it, and several other students, and the float is designed as a staircase with people sitting on each level around tables. Onlookers can be seen standing on the right. The second Administration Building, built 1924, is visible in the background.
