This image shows Appalachian State President William Howard Plemmons (1955-1969) sitting on a stage, looking at notes in his lap, at the dedication ceremony for Lovill, Bowie, White, and Hoey Residence Halls on October 22, 1967, at Appalachian State University (1967-current). All the buildings were completed in 1966 and served as women's dormitories.
