Title

Playcrafters, circa 1954

Description

This image shows two members of the 1953-54 Playcrafters, posing for a picture in costume at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). Carl Henry can be seen standing left, while Ed Collins on the right can be seen wearing a blond wig and a dress. The Playcrafters was the dramatic organization for Appalachian State, performing multiple one-act and three-act plays during the school year, as well as performing in regional and state contests.
