This image shows the southwestern corner of Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) after a snowfall in the 1950s. Newland Hall, built 1939, can be seen in the background. This photograph was taken by John A. Pritchett, director of the Audio-Visual Center and university photographer for Appalachian State during the 1950s.
