This image shows a woman sitting in front of a reel-to-reel magnetic tape recorder in the Audio-Visual Center at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The Audio-Visual Center was located in the Education Building, built 1925, and provided technical assistance as well as educational films and audio equipment for students and teachers. This image was taken in the mid-1950s.
