Description

This image shows a group of people sitting in chairs in the Audio-Visual Center at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). John Pritchett, director of the Audio-Visual Center, sits second from the right. Projectors and chairs are seen behind them, and a poster on the wall reads, "Stereo Webcor." A projector screen and two other people are seen in the background. Audio-Visual Center was located in the Education Building, built 1925, and provided technical assistance as well as educational films for students and teachers. This image was taken in the mid-1950s.
