Description

This image shows the processional walking down the aisle of an auditorium at the May 1976 commencement ceremony at Appalachian State University (1967-current). Two professors can be seen carrying banners bearing the Appalachian State seal. Students can be seen standing in front of their chairs or moving towards them in the background. Commencement ceremonies were held in Varsity Gymnasium since the building's completion in 1968.
