This image shows two students posing in caps and gowns after commencement ceremonies at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The image was taken during the 1960s. Other graduates and commencement attendees can be seen in the background. Commencement was held in the Broome-Kirk Gymnasium, built 1955, until 1968.
