Description

This image shows a poster display for the Audio-Visual Center at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). It shows a small poster, entitled "The Art Medium," with a small color chart. A small shelf holding newspapers is visible beneath the bulletin board. The Audio-Visual Center was located in the Education Building, built 1925, and provided technical assistance as well as educational films for students and teachers. It was headed by Director John A. Pritchett in the 1950s.
