Student Poster, Audio-Visual Center, photo 1

This image shows a poster display for the Audio-Visual Center at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). It shows a drawing of a man playing a bassoon, a larger drawing of a bassoon, with some facts on the instrument. The Audio-Visual Center was located in the Education Building, built 1925, and provided technical assistance as well as educational films for students and teachers. It was headed by Director John A. Pritchett in the 1950s.
