This image shows the Mountaineer Football Team in the mid-1950s posing on College Field at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938, is visible in the background. College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963.
