This image shows the Mountaineer Football Team playing a game in the mid-1950s on College Field at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The audience can be seen sitting and standing on bleachers in the background. College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963.
