Textile Scholarship, 1954, unidentified

This image shows an unidentified student sitting in a chair, holding a book, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). She was one of two students to be awarded a textile scholarship at Appalachian State for 1954-55. Appalachian State's Department of Home Economics held several courses in textiles, focusing on choosing and judging quality of fabric, fabric production, and interior design.
