Description

This image shows the members of the Modern Dance Club posing in the lobby of the Broome-Kirk Gymnasium, built 1955, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The Modern Dance Club performed during campus programs, conferences, and conventions. It consisted of both men and women who were either beginning or advanced dancers. It was sponsored by Mrs. Joy Kirchner of the Department of Health and Physical Education.
