This image shows members of the Lutheran Student Association, leaving the Grace Lutheran Church in Boone, NC. The Lutheran Student Association was made up of both Lutheran students at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) and students from the town of Boone. They held weekly meetings and occasionally included special programs.
