Description

This image shows the members of the Vernician Society at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) for 1957-58. The Vernician Society is a women's organization that focuses on promoting intellectual endeavors, cultural growth, fellowship, and community service. Members were elected by old members and initiated in the fall of each year. The club's major projects include sponsoring parties for underprivileged children and a tea party for the May Court and their guests for May Day. This image appears in the 1958 Rhododendron (p. 111).
