Description

This image shows biology students Carolyn Hutchins and William Snider sitting front of a microscope a laboratory in Smith-Wright Hall, built 1940, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) on April 25, 1958. Harmon was the secretary-treasurer and Snider served as historian of the Beta Beta Beta honorary biological fraternity in 1958-59. Harmon is removing parts of a flower for examination, while part of the flower's leaf rests under the microscope. Half empty Coca-Cola?
