This image shows students gathering into colleges in preparation for the commencement ceremony at Appalachian State University (1967-current). Students located their respective colleges by signs held in front of each group. The crowd to the left holds a sign reading, "Fine Applied Arts," while the group to the right holds a sign reading, "Learning Human Dev." The group in the background holds a sign reading, "Business." In the background to the left is the first Belk Library, built 1968, and to the right is the University Bookstore, built 1969.
