This image shows students gathering into colleges in preparation for the commencement ceremony at Appalachian State University (1967-current). Students located their respective colleges by signs held in front of each group. The crowd in the middle holds a sign reading, "Fine Applied Arts." The group in the back holds a sign reading, "Business." In the background is the University Bookstore, built 1969, and Plemmons Student Union, built 1967.
