This image shows the Women's Symposium at the Center for Continuing Education in the Broyhill Inn, built 1972. A group of women can be seen seated in chairs around a table, looking to the left. Signs on the wall read, "Creative," "Career," and "Development." It was sponsored by the Women's Resource Center, started in 1974 by the Counseling Center, and included programs on assertiveness training, consciousness raising, personal growth, eating disorders, and rape awareness.
