Student Employment Services assists in finding employment for students that provides training and financial assistance while at Appalachian State University (1967-current). It was established in 1971 by students, who sought to help other students and their spouses find work during the academic year. Job areas included general labor, clerical, business, retail sales, and special skills. This image shows a student working in a manufacturing factory, putting cylindrical objects into a box.
