This image shows the interior of a dorm room in Bowie Residence Hall, built 1966, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1978. Visible is a bare mattress on top of a cabinet, with a bookshelf/desk in the background with a rotary telephone on the top shelf. Bowie was a male dormitory that housed three hundred students. This image shows the northeastern end of the building. It is part of the Stadium Heights Community of residence halls.
