This image shows two members of the College Bookstore staff, manager trainee Roby Triplett (left) and manager Howard Cottrell (right), with Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) President William Howard Plemmons (middle). Plemmons is holding a certificate from the National Association of College Stores, Management Seminar Diploma, made out to Roby Triplett. Plemmons was Appalachian State president from 1955 to 1969.
