Visible are the Men's Gymnasium, built 1934, Broome-Kirk Gymnasium, built 1955, Power Plant, built 1924, Service Annex, built 1949, Administration Building, built 1924, Women's Gymnasium, built 1924, Welborn Hall, built 1925, I. G. Greer, built 1950, Home Economics Building, built 1905, Founders Hall, built 1932, Hagaman Hall, built 1952, Watauga Hall, built 1929, White Hall, built 1924, Lovill Home, built 1915, East Hall, built 1952, North Hall, built 1938, Coffey Hall, built 1953, Education Building, built 1925, Whitener Hall, built 1954, College Field, and Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938. Near the center of the mountain, the partially-obscured words "Beat Catawba" are written. Part of this image appears in the 1964 Rhododendron (p. 4).
