Description

This image shows the Job Interview Board maintained by the Placement Office at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) on March 15, 1957. The Placement Office set up interviews with Appalachian State students and graduates with potential employers. Board reads, "Please make all appointments in the Placement Office. Forthcoming Interviews, Needs. March 19 Mr. Edwards, spec representative, Central Intell Agency, Washington, D.C., secretarial clerical. March 22 JC. Ponder, R. J. Reynolds Co., Men for sales and productions. March 21 Mr. C. C. Lipscomb, Supt., Reidsville Public School, Girls phys. ed.. March 22 Mr. John Otts, Supt., Charlotte Public School, teachers. March 28 Mrs. Louise Pressgrove, rep., Dept. of Army, Private. March 18 Clark Jones, Div. of Personnel, Hartford Co., Maryland, Public Schools, teachers. March 27 Dr. Craig Phillips, Supt., Bill Self, Ass. Supt., Winston-Salem Public Schools, teachers." This image appears in the 1959 Rhododendron (p. 154).
