Homecoming Game, 1956, photo 2

This image shows the 1956-57 Mountaineers at the Homecoming game played at College Field at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) on October 15, 1956. Onlookers can be seen seated on bleachers in the background, and Smith-Wright Hall, built 1940, and the second Administration Building, built 1924, can also be seen. College Field was located approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963.
