Class of 1930, Mildred McDade

This image shows the yearbook photograph of Mildred McDade of Boone, North Carolina. She attended Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) and graduated in 1930 with a bachelor of science degree. She served as secretary and treasurer of the junior and senior classes, assistant editor-in-chief of the Rhododendron, and was a member of the Watauga County Club. This image was reproduced from the 1930 Rhododendron (p. 29) in 1956.
