This image shows Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Gamma Psi Chapter of Pi Omega Pi on May 6,1955. The Business Education Department honor society members can be seen in formal dress, standing before the interior exit of a building, with a member holding the Pi Omega Pi letters. Second from the right on the first row is Janet Sue Auton (nee Houck). Third from the right on the second row is Carolyn Harmon. It was organized officially on October 28, 1954.
