This image shows Pansy Kincaid in 1955, standing by a framed copy of her 1915 teacher certificate from Appalachian Training School (1903-1925). Pansy Kincaid attended Appalachian Training School and graduated in 1915. She then worked as a teacher in Watauga County Schools. The certificate shows the subjects the individual was judged suitable to teach, with those not approved marked through.
