Description

The YMCA was one of many student organizations at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). While the YWCA had existed since 1925, the YMCA did not start until 1933. They met in Justice Hall, built 1952, unless meeting jointly with the YWCA in Lovill Home, built 1915. This image shows, sitting from left to right, Carl Litaker, Scott Thomas, Jim Craig, Richard Barker, Fulton Swann King. Standing, Bobby Bridges, Joseph Swann, Rex McNeil, and George Grill.
