This image shows the College Employees Banquet, December 18, 1953, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The banquet was held at Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925. Standing in the center is Mary Alice Huff, library cataloger. Seen in the middle of the table to the left is J. D. Rankin, dean of the College and later interim president of ASTC.
