Description
This image shows a pep rally being held outside the eastern entrance of the second Administration Building, built 1924, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The ASTC 1953-54 varsity cheerleaders can be seen in the center of the image cheering, with onlookers and members of the band in the background. School mascot Yosef can be seen standing on the steps behind the cheerleaders. In the immediate foreground is chief cheerleader Carol Goodrum.
