Description

This image shows the children of Dauphin Disco and Lillie Shull Dougherty. From left to right, image shows Annie Lewis, 1903-2001, Daniel Disco, 1906-1908, and Clara Bartlett, 1898-1971. Annie Lewis and Clara attended Appalachian Training School (1903-1925). Annie graduated in 1921 and went on to Carson-Newman College. Clara Bartlett married Oscar Lester Brown in 1914 and served as matron for Justice Hall, built 1920, from 1921 to 1924. Clara lost her hair in this image due to a recent bought with Typhoid Fever.
