Home Economics Building, circa 1940, photo 2

Description

This image shows the southern (front) and southeastern sides of the Home Economics Building, built 1905, after a snowfall. It started as the original Administration Building, replaced in 1924, and was remodeled in 1939 for the Home Economics Department. This image shows trees and a playground with a slide and swings in the foreground. The building was demolished in 1967 to prepare for the building of the third administration building, B. B. Dougherty Administration Building, completed 1968.
