Description
This image shows John A. Pritchett, associate professor in the Department of Education, teaching an Audio-Visual Education Course at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. He can be seen pinning triangles to a board. Pritchett began working at Appalachian State in 1955, where he organized the Department of Audio-Visual Education, later the Department of Library Science. He served as the first director of the Audio-Visual Center, and was first official University Photographer. He retired in 1991.
