Description

This image shows John Alfred Pritchett, associate professor in the Department of Educational Media in the College of Learning and Human Development at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the early 1980s. Pritchett began working at Appalachian State in 1955, where he organized the Department of Audio-Visual Education, later the Department of Library Science. He served as the first director of the Audio-Visual Center, and was first official University Photographer. He retired in 1991.
