This image shows instructor Wendy Fletcher teaching a dance class in the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. Students can be seen mimicking dance moves in the background. Fletcher also directed the Appalachian Dance Ensemble, which performed ballet, jazz and modern dance.
