Description

This image shows Lois Lundquist, registrar for the Center for Continuing Education at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. Lundquist was appointed to the position in 1973 and was responsible for advance bookings, registrations, and permanent records of conference attendance. The Center for Continuing Education, located in the Broyhill Inn, built 1972, opened in January 1973. Miss Lundquist also served as Administrative Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
