This image shows Starr Stacy, Jr., professor in the Department of Mathematics at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1965. Stacy began teaching at Appalachian State in 1935 and retired in 1974. This image appears in the 1966 Rhododendron (p. 35).
