Wingate College Extension Course, 1961

This image shows eight participants in an Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) extension course at Wingate College during the winter quarter of 1960-1961. The participants were college professors recieving on-the-job training. Seen from left to right are Carolyn Gaddy, Sam Greer, course instructor Nollie Shelton, Joe McLean, Carl Jarrell, Charles Tucker, Robert Morgan, and James Browner.
