Description

This image shows Professors Lee Reynolds and Robert Randall of the Department of Education at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) handing a check to President William Howard Plemmons (1955-1969) in the 1960s. Reynolds can be seen standing on the left holding a checkbook and Randall can be seen on the right holding a pamphlet with a drawing of Conrad Stadium, finished 1962, on it. The donation was to the Heartline Stadium Fund, which sought to raise $160,000 to aid in completion of the stadium.
