Description

This image shows the Women's Glee Club in the Department of Music at Appalachian State University (1967-current) standing on stage in the 1960s. Professor Virginia Linney can be seen standing in the center of the front row. The Women's Glee Club was open to all women students interested in singing, and performed numerous recitals throughout the year. It was later renamed University Singers.
