Description

This image shows Library Director W. L. Eury and librarian Richard Barker behind a microfilm reader in D. D. Dougherty Library, built 1935, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1960s. Eury worked at the library at Appalachian State since 1929, and served as library director from 1945 to 1970. Barker was university librarian from 1973 until 1991.
