Description

This image shows L. F. Edwards, chairman of the Department of Art in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State University (1967-current), teaching a class in the 1970s. Edwards began teaching at Appalachian State in 1966. The Art Department was one of the first departments at Appalachian State and is located in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
