This image shows Hugh Daniel, president of the Alumni Association and later member of the Board of Trustees at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967), sitting at a table during an Alumni Council dinner in the 1960s. Daniel served as Alumni Association president for 1964-65, was on the Board of Trustees from 1967 to 1972, and was chairman in 1971.
